We then describe noting, marking, excessive wear on corners, etc. This does not rule out some very minor or faint notes, as we have seen some books with marks on only a couple of pages, light highlighting in only part of one chapter and pencil marks so light as to only be noticed by going through page by page. If the book has a CD or DVD we will note that in the description, if it was originally issued with either we will note if it is missing. Books that were not originally with either will not have such description. A number of books originally have access to online supplemental material. These are often limited by entry codes or timelines and it is difficult to tell whether they are still available with a used text. We hope that this provides a good guideline for selection of the appropriate text. We do not list books with broken spines, detached covers, text pages missing, excessive marking, obvious food stains (coffee or soda stains in the text pages vs coffee stain on the outer edge of the book), water damage with any sign of mold or breakdown of the book (we will note in description if there are signs of water having been spilled in the pages but obviously dried without damaging the pages readability), parts of covers torn off, or heavily taped together. SHIPPING: the first option for domestic shipping in US Postal Service media mail -- this can take from 3 to 12 days for the continental United States, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska (possibly longer but 10 days has been about average). Other options are Priority Mail and Express for quicker delivery. All shipments in US have delivery confirmation from US Postal Service. Outside the United States -- shipment preferrred is by Priority Mail or Express as these are the only services with some tracking capability. Please email us with any questions.
